The Duchess of York, Princess Eugenie, is currently living her life as Mrs. Jack Brooksbank away from the palace. She is the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson and the younger sister of Princess Beatrice. Following the birth order, she is the 6th in line of succession to the British throne and at the moment is in 12th in line of succession. She got married to a commoner; a brand ambassador named Jack Brooksbank in 2018 and has been living a simple life since. The two of them met on a holiday and they currently have a son. Goes To A Regular Gym And Chills At Home With Netflix On
Princess Eugenie loves to start her day doing some exercise and sweating. Every day, she wakes up at 6:45 in the morning and does some routine exercise at some local park where she does squat jumps, burpees and lunges. When she is in the mood and their schedules permit them to, she sometimes goes to the gym with her best friend. She also love going to the groceries and shopping for their food to store at home.
Unlike her royal family who are still at the palace, Princess Eugenie goes to public gatherings and events after she is done on her office work. She loves socializing and sometimes having dinner with friends or with her husband outside. However, if she is in the mood for some homemade meals, she just goes straight home and cook dinner and relaxes with Netflix on afterwards. He does not watch much of reality shows on TV but she does enjoy watching cooking programs or whatever food indulgences show she can find on Netflix.
A Passionate Backpacker
Princess Eugenie has always been passionate about travelling. She even collected all her plane tickets since she started traveling at 16 years old. She was basically planning to make wallpaper out of all the plane tickets she had gathered. At an early age of 18, she had been to numerous countries backpacking including America, Thailand, India and South Africa. She always took the economy class every time she travels and even sleeps at a $20/night hostels according to the British media reports. In 2016 alone, she had taken about eight trips in a span of 15 months which led her boss at the art gallery to ban her from traveling for the year.
She loves staying at beachfront hostels that costs cheap where she can enjoy the sunset and sunrise while just sitting at the beach. She has been so used to traveling and backpacking across the world which is something a a royal family member would not be comfortable doing. Traveling and backpacking may have been her passion but it did not only give her pleasure, it also gave her the love of her life when she met her now husband while she was backpacking. In 2010, the two of them met while skiing in Switzerland.
Leading A Successful Career As An Art Director
Princess Eugenie has quite a different life than her cousin Prince William as she leads a normal life a successful art director at Hauser & Wirth. The youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson is taking a totally different path from the other members of her royal family. At the age of 32, she is a living a totally normal life as an art director and a loving wife and mother. She is the real life common princess who obviously enjoys living the ordinary life she has right now. It was also reported that just like her older sister Princess Beatrice, Eugenie chose not to be a working royal. She is not supported financially by the royal family and is working on her own.
Princess Eugenie just joined the top-tier gallery Hauser & Wirth last 2015 after leaving Paddle8. According to the news reports, the Duchess of York was poached by the Hauser & Wirth while she was working for the New York-based online auction house called Paddle8. She was only working for Paddle8 for two years before she decided to move on and be part of the Hauser & Wirth family. She was initially just doing a three-month internship for Paddle8 since September 2013 but it turned into a full time job which pays her about $33,000 per year. She was initially offered a job as an associate director for the Hauser & Wirth but got promoted and currently working there as an art director.
