Ice Hockey Player Hunter Dorram died in a car Accident
It was with a heavy heart that the East Texas Baptist University Tigers bid farewell to one of their own. Hunter Dorram, an ambitious Ice Hockey player, lost his life in a horrific car accident on Monday morning. Everyone who knew Hunter remembered him for his tenacity and curiosity – he would always pick up something new and master it before long – as well as his passionate nature and sardonic wit. An entire community is mourning the loss of Hunter, whose absence will be severely felt by all who were close to him.

We are devastated to announce that yesterday morning we lost our brother, Hunter Dorram, in a car accident. There aren’t words that will ever be able to fully express the pain we feel. But, we can say that there will forever be a dormsy-sized hole in our hearts and on the ice. We send our deepest condolences to his family and friends and will continue to pray for them through this incredibly tragic time. Fly high, brother.

As a grandmother, my heart goes out to Hunter’s grandma. I spoke with her several times each year in order for her to make her travel plans from Colorado so she could watch him play. He was her everything. Breaks my heart for her and her son – Hunter’s dad. Prayers for them and the family.
